Milking and cuddling with a cow has been done by maids since time immemorial but when was the last time you did it? Vu has mostly old dairy breeds such as mountain cow, mountain cow and jersey but also some common breeds Swedish red-variegated cattle (SRB) and Holstein (bregottkossan) With us you can try milking a cow and understand the origin of so much food that comes from this precious raw material such as cow's milk. Yogurt, file, ice cream, cottage cheese, dry milk to name a few. We make use of all the milk ourselves and process it in our farm dairy. *What the experience is like right now on the farm: * We start the experience with us by going out to the dairy cows that go outside regardless of the weather and catch one of the milking cows. It is great to walk among all the dairy cows and the occasional calf that is still with its mother. We tell you about how we care for our animals and the difference between the different breeds that we have and what is the difference between our animal husbandry and in a “regular” dairy stall. We tell you about what is important when milking, about hygiene and other things to consider and then we hand-milk a cow. There is an opportunity to taste the tea-warm milk and if you are good enough, maybe it will be enough for the coffee in any case. If time is enough, we go to our weaned calves and greet them. NEAR PIG EXPERIENCE

Many children grow up with ham sandwiches and bacon without really knowing what it is they are eating. Those families who wish can visit the farm and meet the sow and the cults when they are young. If the children are allowed to participate, it will be natural for them and maybe they will eat with more devotion and respect for the food. On several occasions throughout the year we get cults. They are allowed to walk with their sow mother until they are at least three months, sometimes up to five months. Depending on their age, we can cuddle with them. They are a bit squeaky and like to bite when they are small if we hold them up but if they are allowed to stay on the hill and come out on their own then it will be fine. You get to feed pigs, big and small, we tell you how we care for them and what their pig life looks like and the uniqueness of our farm. *What the experience is like right now on the farm: *\ We will walk around different fences where pigs of different sizes live and we will tell you in detail about our animal husbandry, their breed and our experiences of keeping pigs out all year round. There will be opportunities to pet and feed them but we will be careful because the sow is very protective of its little ones. If we have pigs that do not live with their mothers because they were weak as little ones, we can go in with them. They are a bit more tame and these can be held and patted. In the spring of 2024, we have two very tame “bottle pigs” that you can meet and pet and take pictures with. \ We even have our breeding boars who are usually in the mood to be scratched. NEAR SHEEP AND LAMB EXPERIENCE

More peaceful than watching a ewe ruminating in the sun next to its lambs does not exist. Watching the lambs play “not touching the ground” by jumping on ewe to ewe, chasing around, around is nothing more than a life experience that is etched. We do not know what mood our animals are in when you visit us, but we can guarantee that you will leave here with a smile on your face and that you have had a cuddle with both sheep and lambs. During certain times of the year, usually in the second quarter of the year when we have small lambs, we can offer experience packages where participants get to meet the sheep and lambs up close. It's usually an unforgettable time with lots of beautiful pictures. This experience is suitable even for really young children. We would love to share the joy of being with our animals. It can be a fun experience with a friend, the whole family or why not the whole family, work colleagues or at a bachelorette party. *What the experience is like right now on the farm: *\ Most of our sheep go outside all year round and we start the experience in the paddock where the oldest are located. They are many of our ewes that are domesticated and they are particularly curious about new visitors. They love to be patted on their heads and you can curl your hands into their thick fur. We tell you about the two different breeds we have and talk about how they live their lives here on the farm. We will also visit the enclosure where our lambs walk and where you can cuddle as much as you want until the experience is over. Now in the spring, there are usually so-called bottle staples that are extra tame and if you are lucky you can bottle feed one of these. If it is this summer, they have become so big that they do not drink milk anymore, but only eat fresh, green grass. First we meet up in the courtyard at the stables next to the large stone building.
